It seems that my wife is always on the look out for some sort of hobby. She is quite accomplished at sewing, but there are times when she just doesn't feel like sewing. My wife has found that the prices and selection online can be better than the selection at a store, but the convenience of just running down to the store to buy what you need is hard to beat. If you have the time, using the Internet can allow you to buy beads in bulk, which is nice when you are constantly making bead projects. I am glad that my wife has her projects.

It gives her a sense of fulfillment, and it is something she can do to create bonds with our daughters and their friends in our neighborhood. I have even gotten in on beaded jewlery a little bit. My wife got some bone, antler, and wood beads that I used with my scouts to make some necklaces for our troop to wear at scout camp. We choice special beads to represent the number of merit badges each scout had and the number of service projects they had participated in.
